HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR ACTING HEADSHOTS
Getting a great acting headshot is one of the key tools for an actor to promote themselves. Casting directors, agents, and other industry professionals will normally encounter you for the first time through your headshot.
We aim to make every session fun with no pressure at all. The sessions are fast-moving without being rushed and they normally run just around 1 hour.
In preparation for your photo shoot, we wanted to provide you with some guidance and instruction to make sure we all get what we need from your photoshoot and headshots. Please let us know if you have any questions.
1) Please show up at the time we have you scheduled. We have a busy schedule, so please properly estimate your drive time.
If you are running late, please text us at 347-684-1927.
2) Clothing/Apparel:
Clothing reflects you, your brand, and your personality so it’s worth spending some time choosing the right outfits(s) for your shoot. For the majority of acting headshots, it’s only your top half you need to worry about.
For most headshots, we would recommend avoiding too many distracting patterns, graphics, brand logos, or super vibrant colors. Please bring plenty of tops with you so we can decide on the best ones for you.
LADIES: NO CROP TOPS or HALTER TOPS!
IMPORTANT: V-NECKS AND PLAIN T-SHIRTS ARE BEST!
Wear what you feel represents you. Bring 5-7 options of clothing including different colors. PLEASE INCLUDE A BLACK TOP, SHIRT, OR BLOUSE. Layering looks with jackets, etc also works well. Please bring a black top, and a white shirt for sure!
I also prefer colors including OLIVE, TAN, BROWN, BABY BLUE, MAROON, and GRAY
If you did not pay in full, for the remainder payment, you can bring cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
